A city of music and fun

From contemporary circus to classical music concerts, from coffees sipped in street cafes to music played in the piazzas, in the courtyards or in the shade of trees, on a peaceful springtime day. The sensual movements of the body, the emotion of the voice, dangerous balances atop a medieval tower, marionettes, the sonorous melodies of the Far East illustrated by a street musician and much, much more. From June to July, the old town of Brescia is ablaze with colour: a month of open air events and theatrical shows, with fanfare, dinners under the stars, street parades, art and photography performances, nights of dance, cinema and video displays. All of this is the International Contemporary Circus Festival, an event dedicated to contemporary circus.
