MilleMiglia: every year May brings the “most beautiful race in the world”, MilleMiglia, which, since 1927, has hosted the most beautiful classic cars of all times: Bentley, Alfa Romeo, Mercedes, Bugatti, Lancia, BMW and Aston Martin. The cars and the drivers travel an exciting journey: 1,600 Km (1,000 miles) from Brescia to Rome and back, through the art and history of the most attractive piazzas of some of Italy’s most delightful cities such as Verona, Ferrara, Ravenna, Gubbio, Assisi, Siena and Florence.

Centomiglia: established in 1951 by members of the Gargnano Sailing Club, this regatta takes place every year in September. Together with this regatta there are then two other events: the Centomiglia Cup, reserved for the winners of the various editions of the Centomiglia, and 100 Week, a sailing week which includes competitions for the Gorla, Marchi, Castellani and Omboni trophies.

Open air theatre at the Vittoriale House Museum:according to the wishes of the poet Gabriele d’Annunzio, the villa is home to a theatre which faces onto the splendid panorama of Lake Garda, whose waters act as a natural backdrop. The Theatre’s summer season proposes interesting shows every July and August, with evenings dedicated to theatre, ballet, opera, classical music and cabaret.
